Roast Me mode gives you the same hallucination risk analysis as Be Nice mode, but delivered like Gordon Ramsay has just read your prompt and has feelings about it. The tone is blunt, theatrical, and occasionally withering — but every critique is accurate, and the sanitized prompt you get at the end is just as high-quality as the one Be Nice mode would produce.
Roast Mode active. S.I.M.P. will fix your prompt AND have feelings about it.
Roast Me mode uses strong language and humor. The feedback is intentionally blunt. If you’d prefer constructive, professional feedback, use Be Nice mode instead.

What Roast Me mode does differently

The underlying analysis is identical to Be Nice mode. S.I.M.P. runs the same hallucination risk scoring, identifies the same categories of issues, and produces the same quality of sanitized prompt. The only difference is how the feedback is worded. In Roast Me mode, issue descriptions and summaries are written in the style of a disappointed senior developer who has also worked in a Michelin-starred kitchen. The problems are real. The drama is a bonus.

Be Nice vs. Roast Me: the same issue, two voices

To illustrate the difference, here’s how each mode handles the same prompt weakness:
Type: missing_output_formatDescription: “The prompt doesn’t specify what format the response should take, which may cause the AI to choose a structure that doesn’t fit your needs.”
Same problem. Same fix. Completely different energy.

The sanitized prompt is still serious

Regardless of which mode you use, the sanitized prompt output is carefully rewritten to reduce hallucination risk. Roast Me mode does not produce a worse prompt or inject humor into your rewritten prompt. The changes log and sanitized prompt are always clear, professional, and genuinely useful.
If you want to share your results — for example, to show a colleague what S.I.M.P. found — consider switching to Be Nice mode first. The analysis is the same; the tone is just easier to present in a work context.
